Mj Dominey
Mj Dominey’s paintings of the sea are raw, spontaneous creations using a knife and a limited palette. She prefers acrylics and often lots of texture. She began her artistic journey in the field of graphic art and now focuses primarily on painting. She grew up in Cape Breton and currently lives on the beautiful south shore of Nova Scotia.
“I want my art to catch your eye. I want you to be drawn to the brilliant greens, the swirling white foam and the mysterious dark depths. I want you to feel the movement, the undulating waves, the enigma of the sea.”
