Michelle Darwin
Michelle Darwin is a painter who creates art that is rich in mood, colour, and expressive feeling. She specializes in paintings of homes, gardens, and meaningful places. She seeks to capture a sense of place, of memory, and of the poetry of everyday life in her work. She has released collections of original artwork as well as prints and cards. She lives a short walk from the ocean on Nova Scotia’s South Shore and can often hear the sound of waves from her garden.
She regularly shares behind-the-scenes, new paintings, and thoughtful reflections on living seasonally and finding creative flow in her email letter.
She currently works in gouache and acrylic.
